Piedmontese EPD Files

Piedmontese Breed EPDs  - based on the unique gene present only in Piedmontese cattle: inactive myostatin variant C313Y

The following link will download and open an EXCEL data file with the current EPDs on Piedmontese (2-copy) animals, homozygous for inactive myostatin C313Y,  processed by AgSights/BIO to date. The EXCEL file is sorted by Producer code (tattoo) but allows you to sort by traits using the drop down menu on each trait heading. Please note, there are some animals reported with incomplete data most likely due to a lack of trait information on that animal, an issue which will be addressed in subsequent data runs as new information comes in. EPD data runs occur regularly at BIO and updated files will be posted as they are available.

Note: animal tattoos are expressed as "PI" for the breed designation, followed by producer tattoo with year of birth letter, followed by the generation letter code (to distinquish between year letter codes used over the alphabetical cycles). The current generation code is "D" that started with animal year code A born in 2013. Animals born from 1991 (year letter A) through 2012 (year letter Z) are generation code "C".   When the ACCURACY column (trait+Acc) is noted at -1 that indicates only pedigree connection data was available for that animal and that trait.)

You can locate individual animals by selecting the Tattoo column, then use the Find option (top right hand corner) and type the full animal tattoo. Sorting and Filtering Data Instructions
